St. Peter’s Church is central to the spirit of the village and the close community here. Services are held on the second Sunday of the month at 10:00am and a family service every other week. Everyone is welcome. You can find times of the monthly services on their website.
St. Peter's Church is a tranquil place to be whether you wish to pray, light a votive candle, admire the church interior or just sit in peace.
The Community Room provides a small meeting room, a kitchen, disabled toilet facilities, and disabled access to the Church.
A number of events are held every year involving the whole village and it is a favourite place for marriages due to the beautiful setting.
The church has a long history dating back to the 11th century. There may well have been a religious site here since Saxon times. There are 8 bells in the church tower, two of which date back to 1657.
The church is open during daylight hours but times may vary so please avoid very early or very late visits.
